Shipping Policy

Moraine Valley Community College Bookstore is proud to offer you free shipping. All of our shipments are professionally packed to ensure the safety of your items in route. We also ship to Tinley Park and Blue Island locations.

On average, your order will be received in 1 - 2 Business days. During August or December, delivery time may take longer.

Refund Policy

Textbook/Rental/Day One Inclusive Access/Course Material Refund Policy

Textbooks returned after the deadline period will receive only 50%
All Textbooks must have the components unopened with the package for full refund.

Students deciding not to purchase inclusive access course material through course fee, can opt-out of the program by going to their course in Canvas and click “OPT-OUT” within five days from the start of the class. After opting-out, students will no longer be able to access online materials for their classes. To opt-in again, students must contact the bookstore at
For Refunds bring textbooks/course material at Building D curbside. If returns are mailed, they must still be in the store on the due date
Textbooks/Textbook Rental/Day One Inclusive Access/Course material purchased or Rented after the refund period are ineligible for a refund.

OPT-OUT is not the same as dropping a course, if students decide not to attend the class they must drop the course online by accessing MVConnect or in person at the registration office.

Merchandise Refund Policy

Clothing Merchandise must be in new condition and with the price tags attached for refund. Five days refund from purchase date.
Open software will not be returnable.
Reference books can be returned within 2 days from date of purchase.
Non-textbook items, including unopened multimedia, may be returned/exchanged with receipt within 5 calendar days. Merchandise must be in new and saleable condition.
Opened videos, disks, and cassettes may be exchanged only for replacement copies of the original item.
Defective items, including textbooks with a receipt, can be exchanged within five days of purchase.

Credit Card/Check Refund Policy

If the original purchase was made by credit card, a refund will be issued only to that credit card. No cash will be given.

If the original purchase was made by check, a gift card will be issued that you may redeem for cash in two weeks from the written date on the check.
